Charles Pettit spent fifteen years as Executive
Vice-president of NAVAR S.A., a mixed agricultural enterprise based in northern Argentina. |
|
NAVAR produces yerba mate, tea, timber and cattle with all the raw material coming from the firm’s own plantations. Throughout his tenure Pettit helped the company develop into a highly profitable business.
Prior to NAVAR Charles managed a 10,000 hectare estancia (ranch) “ 13 de Abril”, where mixed farming (soy bean, maize and sunflower) and pasture rotation (primarily alfalfa) were combined for the fattening of their own cattle stock, also bred on the farm.
In addition to this experience, Charles Pettit is also a member of various regional and agricultural advisory boards. Currently he is a Director (previously President) of the Sociedad Rural de Virasoro ( Agricultural Society), representative for employers on the Comisión Asesora Regional (Regional Advisory Board) and a regional delegate for the Sociedad Rural Argentina (National Agricultural Society).
Charles and his associates, who include lawyers, notaries, accountants, cattle brokers and agricultural engineers, combine to provide a solid, informed service for those seeking independent advice.
